16 Things to do at Scarborough North Bay

We love a trip to Scarborough. North Bay is traditionally known as the ‘quiet end’ of the town although I’m not sure why as there is plenty going on. 

You can easily spend a full day in this section alone or walk through the town (or catch an Open Top Bus) to South Bay where you’ll find amusements, bars, restaurants, a fairground, bowling, boat trips, fishing, shops and more.

There’s a traditional cafe inside the park with lovely views and regular live music from the bandstand. The walk around the park is lovely.

There’s a cafe at the Railway ticket office with outdoor seating where you can watch the activities. There's also a large outdoor ampitheatre so do check what's on.

There are several cafes along the prom - we like the cafe at North Bay Mini Golf. Very friendly staff, lovely views and fab for dogs with treats and water available.
