A quick guide to North East Christmas Markets 2014

I love a Christmas market. There is something about the atmosphere, the roast chestnuts and mulled wine that really gets me in the festive spirit. I must admit, I rarely buy actual gifts from Christmas markets but we do buy decorations and lots of yummy foods to keep for over Christmas. Here is my guide to the best of the region's markets this year. Feel free to add your own in the comments.

  1. I've added some of these to my diary, I knew about some of the North Tyneside ones but I didn't have the dates for Newcastle, and this is the first I've heard of the Royal Quays having one too! So many Christmas markets and stalls to get to this year :)
