Alton Towers February Half Term Deal

Alton Towers has put together a nice little short break idea for February Half Term. This deal is available from 18-27 February 2022 (do check your school holiday dates as they do vary this year). Always check information direct with venue when booking as the info in this post may change.

The deal DOES NOT include full access to the theme park which will be closed but there is still plenty to do and it is a good option if your kids love indoor waterparks as it includes access on one day.

From £150 per family of 4 (or £37.50 per person), your package will include:

  • An Overnight Stay at Alton Towers Resort (choice of Splash Landings / CBeebies Land Hotel / Alton Towers Hotel / Enchanted Village
  • A Visit to Sharkbait by SEALIFE
  • A Session at the Splash Landings Waterpark
  • Entertainment throughout your break
  • Access to the Rides at Mutiny Bay
  • A Round of Extraordinary Golf
  • Breakfast at your Hotel

Please double check all t&cs and information when booking. See below for the waterpark t&cs for example (click on the image to enlarge - taken Jan 2022):

I checked prices (these are based on a family of 4) for the Sunday of Half Term and they were as follows:

Obviously these prices will vary depending on when you book, how many people are going and which dates you are booking for. Alton Towers do offer rooms for families of 5 (check out the Enchanted Village) and it is cheaper for single parent families too.

I think this looks like a nice little break away for children at Primary School and their families - crazy golf, mini SEALIFE, a few pirate themed rides and a trip to a waterpark alongside hotel entertainment all sounds great. The only things you will really need to pay for are your evening meal and drinks.

We have previously stayed at the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings Hotel (no blog post though as it was years ago) and they are brilliant with nice theming and friendly staff. Family entertainment usually takes place in the bar area (games/ storytelling / crafts etc.....for the kids) on a drop in basis.

Usually you can visit the other hotels (with the exception of CBeebies) and check out the facilities / entertainment across all accommodation. You are usually given info about the entertainment on offer at each hotel on arrival.

You can add a range of extras to your package on booking including:

  • Early check out (£35)
  • Late check out (£50)
  • Evening snacks in your room (£12)
  • Birthday packages (£35-£40)

Dining options at Alton Towers Resort include:

  • Flambo's Jumbo All You Can Eat Buffet
  • Ma Garrita's Bar
  • Rollercoaster Restaurant
  • Secret Garden Restaurant
  • Crooked Spoon Restaurant

Booking a restaurant ahead of your visit is highly recommended, contact Alton Towers Resort to make a dining reservation.

You don't have to dine at resort - you could take your own room picnic, pick up a takeaway or eat out in the local area.

Alton Towers Theme Park is closed until mid-March which is why this off-peak deal is available at such a good price. When the theme park is open, it is usually a lot more expensive to stay here. You will not be able to buy a theme park ticket with this deal.

Please note, I don't work for Alton Towers and I have shared this post using info which is publicly available. If you have any questions, please contact Alton Towers direct.
