One reason I love Liverpool is that there are so many FREE museums. Perfect to hide in for a few hours if the weather takes a turn for the worse! Our favourite is the Museum of Liverpool - so many fantastic hands-on exhibitions and it is really easy too. The World Museum and National Maritime Museum are worth a look too (the Titanic exhibition is brilliant) - most of the museums are down by the docks and within easy walking distance of each other.
