One reason I love Liverpool is that there are so many FREE museums. Perfect to hide in for a few hours if the weather takes a turn for the worse! Our favourite is the Museum of Liverpool - so many fantastic hands-on exhibitions and it is really easy too. The World Museum and National Maritime Museum are worth a look too (the Titanic exhibition is brilliant) - most of the museums are down by the docks and within easy walking distance of each other.

  1. One of my New Year's Resolutions is going to be to visit more northern cities and Liverpool is definitely on there, it's been years and years since I last went. Not sure i'll make it for Christmas, but maybe next year!
