Hadrian's Wall Live 2016 - Sat 3rd & Sun 4th September

Hadrian's Wall creeps up on this blog a lot. It's because as a family, we freakin' love it! I am seriously shocked when I speak to people and they have yet to visit! Did you know it's the most popular visitor attraction in the whole of Northern England and a UNESCO World Heritage Site? People travel from all over the world to take in a piece of this history that sits right on our door-step.

Hadrian's Wall Live 2016 - Sat 3rd & Sun 4th September. Book your tickets now.

I think we have visited most of the major parts of Hadrian's Wall now but one thing we have yet to experience is Hadrian's Wall Live. Hadrian's Wall Live is an absolutely EPIC weekend where you'll see armies clashing, hand-to-hand combat and get the chance to walk alongside Roman legionaries on their torch-lit night patrol.
