(ad) This post is based on a visit in August 2026. Please always check venues direct for up to date info. We booked HALF PRICE tickets to Flamingo Land using the Great Days Out website at the start of August. The process was super easy and our tickets were emailed to us instantly. I’ve added a little tutorial of how it all works at the end of this video: How to buy discounted tickets video
This deal was perfect for us as you can use a family pass for any 4 people and they can be adults / older teens so we brought along our 17 year old daughter and her friend.
It had been a while since we last visited Flamingo Land and we actually had a brill time. The teens ventured off on their own on the thrill rides for a while (which they LOVED) and we all explored the zoo together which was brilliant. We could have sat and watched the Hippos and Baboons all day. They’re fascinating! We also got to see a Capybara and lions.

For younger kids I was impressed with the splash park, pirate shows & Peter Rabbit play area / meet & greet. There’s also an indoor soft play. Some of the smaller rides like the tractors and carousel had no queue today.
You can catch a monorail or mini train around the park but it’s compact enough to walk.
The only negative from our day was that the food court was a little chaotic and seemed to take ages. We enjoyed our pizzas but all agreed that next time we will bring a picnic.
1 - Meet Peter Rabbit
2 - Splash about in the Splash Pad
3 - Walk through Reptile River
4 - Visit Muddy Duck Farm (you can meet the animals with a keeper at selected times)
5 - Ride the Thrill Rides

EXTRA TIP: Sign up to the Great Days Out website before you book and you’ll receive a discount code for an additional 10% off which brings a family ticket down to £87.30. This is the cheapest price I have seen and can be used on any date in the summer holidays. This brings the cost down to £21.82pp. We were there for 6 hours today which works out at £3.64 per person per hour which I think is pretty good value for money!
