This is an advert for June 2025 - March 2026. Any edits / shares beyond this date have not been asked or paid for. As always, events can change so it's important you check up-to-date details with venues direct before setting off. You can do that here: https://www.greatnorthumberland.co.uk/
I am SO excited to share an initial outline of the programme with you and some dates for your diary. There is loads to look forward to.
Everyone is welcome to attend whether you live in Blyth or the surrounding area or fancy a day trip from further afield. Getting to Blyth is super easy with the new Northumberland Line (train) and a well-connected bus station in the heart of the town centre with regular buses from Newcastle.
For me, Blyth holds a special place as it's somewhere I visited a lot as a child with my grandparents. We'd always take a family trip to the market, browse for bargains, purchase some meat from the auction, get pick n mix from the sweet stall and end with a cup of tea in the Co-op cafe. Happy days. I'm looking forward to seeing the regeneration of Blyth and creating some new memories with my own family during Blyth Celebrates.
