We visited Spilmans Farm Pumpkin Picking recently and had THE best time, honestly I recommend it to anyone who fancies getting in the mood for Halloween.

  • £2 per person + cost of pumpkins (under 3s go free). Pumpkins then cost between £1.50 & £7 (pay for whatever you pick)
  • Dates for 2021 - 2&3 October 9&10 October, 16-31 October
  • Tickets must be pre-booked. They are released in September. Sign up to the Brocksbushes newsletter to receive alerts. 






Spilmans Farm (near Thirsk)

  • £5 per person(includes a £5 voucher per person to spend on activities / pumpkins) + cost of pumpkins
  • Extra activities include pumpkin carving, maize maze, tractor rides, farm animals, corn cannon, bale mountain, fairground rides and wood-fired pizza

Adventure Valley (County Durham)

Atley Hill (Northallerton)

  • Check their page before you visit as they will announce when they have sold out
  • No additional activities 





Laverock Hall Farm (Blyth)

  • Free entry with no pre-booking required. Keep an eye on the event for sold-out announcements before setting off. Pay for pumpkins on the day.
  • Weekends from 9-24 October
  • No additional activities but they are running a competition if you send photos of your carved pumpkins from home. 




Hall Hill Farm (Durham)

  • Additional activities include scarecrows, haunted sheep race, mini monster maze, trick or treat treasure hunt, pumpkin carving and spooky barrel train rides

A reader recommended Pontac Pumpkins which I think is in Redcar. Their website does not seem to be working and there isn't an address on their FB page but you can find out more here.
