11 reasons to love Tattershall Lakes with Away Resorts

We have been invited to stay at Tattershall Lakes with Away Resorts this Easter and I am now in full planning mode deciding which activities we are going to join in with and where we're going to visit. I am so excited for our stay and thought I would write a little post about why we can't wait:-

1 - Luxury included Lakeside Lodges

Tattershall Lakes Lakeside Lodge

We're staying in a luxury lakeside lodge that contains everything we need and more - Away Resorts even include a fondue set, scrabble board and welcome basket to ensure your stay is the best in can be.

2 - Midsummers Night's Screenings

Tattershall Lakes Outdoor Cinema - Midsummer NIght's

During high season and weekends you can enjoy screenings of your favourite family movies by the lake for free! Imagine hay bales. campfires, popcorn and blankets. I for one can't wait! I've checked online and Big Hero Six is going to be showing during our stay.

3 - Watersports

Tattershall Lakes Water sports

There are two large lakes at Tattershall and there is plenty of space to join in with the huge array of watersports available including wakeboarding, jetskiing, waterskiing, pedalo hire and more.

4 - Play sessions

Tattershall Lakes Beach

I love the sound of the innovative play sessions at Tattershall Lakes including the chance to make homemade postcards, spaghetti spaniels, beach stone characters, edible spaceships, nature rangers and more - There are daily sessions included in the cost of your holiday and any additional activities cost just £4.

5 - Thrills and Spills with My Active

Tattershall Lakes Fishing

My Active is a programme for guests staying at Away Resorts to allow you to maybe try something new together and stay active during your holidays. From learning how to catch a fish to archery, axe throwing, body zorbing, raft building, laser tag and lots more, there is something for all ages and abilities. There is always at least one activity per day included in the price of your holiday and additional activities are only £4 per person.

6 - There's a spa

Tattershall Lakes Spa

Ah the holy grail for stressed out parents. The Spa at Tattershall lakes includes a range of treatments from facials to massages. I have my eye on the mother-daughter pamper package which is only £50.

7 - Even more activities included

Tattershall Lakes Campfire

You can download a sample entertainments brochure here (PDF) to give you an idea of what's included in your break. I love the sound of building campfires together, circus workshops and face painting, yoga and even the great British pub quiz - lots of family fun and all included in your break.

8 - Lots to do in the area (pinterest board)

I've been researching what there is to do in the area should we need to escape and there are going to be Easter Egg hunts at local National Trust Properties, there are castles to explore, railways to discover, farms to enjoy and even a secret cinema in the woods.

9 - Bike hire from £4

Tattershall Lakes Bike Riding

We love cycling on holiday and you may remember it's one of our family fitness goals to teach Jack how to ride a bike. Tattershall Lakes run balance bike courses (yeah) and you can hire a bike for all ages from only £4. We will definitely be taking the bikes out and about to discover the area.

10 - Sky at night

Tattershall Lakes Star Gazing

Tattershall Lakes run special Sky at Night evenings on selected dates where you can join experts with their telescopes and learn all about stargazing and how to use a Planisphere.

11 - The Price

A 4 night break in the Easter holiday costs from between £201 to £656 for 6 people depending on your choice of accommodation. I think just over £200 is an absolute bargain considering it's the school holidays. You can find out more and book below:-
