(ad) Earth, Wind and Fire Garden at Ridley Park, Blyth 




Walk through a fire-breathing flower arch into a world of shimmering sculptures, glowing fire trees, and giant lotus flowers that breathe flame.

Highlights include:
🌍 The Flaming Daisy Chain – a fiery moving sculpture
💨 In the Balance – rotating fiery globes featuring children’s drawings
🔥 Spot hidden surprises like a midnight owl, flying dragons, and the glowing storytelling creature Ghost Caribou
🎶 All set to the lively sounds of the Northern Monkey Brass Band.
Friday 14 November starts with a Lantern Parade (5pm to 5.30pm), created by Headway Arts with Newsham Primary, Wise Academies, and the Blyth Culture Network. Over 100 hand-crafted lanterns and two glowing figures - The Sun & Sky Spirit and The Wind & Wave Sprite - will lead the way into the Fire Garden.

👍All ages welcome, Ridley Park is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs and there are toilets (including accessible) on site.
💡 Dress warmly and enjoy this spellbinding world of fire, light, wind, and water.
🚌 Blyth Bus Station is just around the corner and there are a number of free car parks in Blyth centre are a short walk away. I expect this event to be busy and public transport is recommended.

🥪 If you're looking for somewhere to dine afterwards, I can personally recommend the Commissioners Quay Pub (nice and cosy) or Asmara Indian Lounge both less than 5 minutes walk from the event.

This free outdoor event is presented as part of Blyth Celebrates - putting creativity at the heart of the town's regeneration.
