Our favourite day out as kids was Saltwell Park with the real aeroplane parked on the field that you could play inside, the best bit was sliding down the emergency chute at the end. They had goats and rabbits back then as well as the birds they have now.Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07710633618708654986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3340560222446184520.post-74999843358504720442018-02-15T06:37:25.086+00:002018-02-15T06:37:25.086+00:00I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!! I never visited the Farne islands in high school, I think I went horse ridding in Otterburn for week instead. I loved Metroland! The last time I visited I think I went with a group of people from high school, so much fun! xxNewcastle Family Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17190961318268513796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3340560222446184520.post-71636644522218415382018-02-14T13:10:57.483+00:002018-02-14T13:10:57.483+00:00As a child I lived near Middlesbrough but we still...As a child I lived near Middlesbrough but we still used to visit the Metrocentre. My mother would go shopping and my dad would take my brother & I to Metroland. I loved that place.
