Play your part for a better internet on 9th February

Safer Internet Day falls on 9th February this year and Intel Security challenged our family to create a visual representation of what we think a 'safe internet' would look like. All of my children use the internet more or less every day whether this be streaming cartoons, watching youtube videos or researching homework so I was keen to get them all involved and listen to their ideas about what they thought a safe internet would look like.

Our ideas for a 'Safe Internet'

We created a video to talk you through what we think would make a safer internet:-

A safe internet would not have any suspicious emails that could give our computer a virus

A safe internet would not feature any swearing or rude words

A safe internet would not let people find out where you live.

A safe internet would not let people steal your passwords

How Intel Security are doing their bit

  • Intel Security provide products such as True Key software where you can sign in without your password (eg your fingerprint)
  • Virus protection such as McAfee Live Safe provides trusted protection you can shop, surf and keep all of your devices online with one single subscription

As part of Safer Internet Day, Intel Security are giving away 3 sets of family tickets (each ticket admits up to 2 adults and 2 children and is worth £38) to Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes.  Enter via the rafflecopter giveaway below:-
