A magical Frost Village is now open at Keel Square, Sunderland, offering stunning seasonal entertainment for the whole family.

Among the many highlights is an outdoor ice rink, where skaters of all ages can enjoy a full programme of activities, including lessons with Andrei Lipanov from ITV’s Dancing on Ice, ice discos and the chance to skate with fairytale princesses and super heroes.

The village, created by Sunderland Business Improvement District, also boasts a traditional Christmas market with more than 25 stalls selling food, drink, gifts and crafts.

And there’s a Christmas fun fair, with a waltzer, Star Flyer and bumper cars, also open from noon daily on the former Vaux Brewery site nearby.

We’ve teamed up with Sunderland BID to offer one lucky follower a family pass for four to the Frost Village, including a chance to take to the ice.

To win simply enter via the Rafflecopter at the end of this post.

If you are not our lucky winner then don’t worry.  Sunderland’s Frost Village is open Sundays to Wednesdays from 10am to 8pm and Thursdays to Saturdays from 10am until 10pm, so there’s plenty of chances to get involved.

The Frost Village will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve and all skating sessions for that date must be booked in advance.

Prices for skating start at £6.50 per child and £7.50 per adult, with additional options also available for private hire.

Giveaway has now ended.
