No Muu - Local Dairy Free Treats

Regular readers will know how important it is for us to try and shop local whenever we can so when Anna from No Muu (based in Blaydon) contacted us with her story I was keen to hear more.

A few years ago, Anna's two children were diagnosed with dairy intolerance and she struggled to find any dairy free treats that were both appealing to her children and tasty too. Determined that her children weren't going to miss out, Anna spotted a gap in the market and the No Muu concept was born. Anna and her family now produce a fantastic range of dairy free chocolates and treats that can be enjoyed by children and grown ups alike.

Dairy free milk chocolate with raspberry - a perfect grown up treat

I love how No Muu are constantly expanding their range and create seasonal products to make sure those with dairy-free diets won't miss out. We love their dairy-free chocolate Easter bunnies and think they make a wonderful alternative to a traditional Easter egg. (No Muu are in the process of finalising their dairy-free Easter eggs so look out for their impending launch).

Everyone in our family is able to eat dairy and the beauty of No Muu is that their treats are DELICIOUS and can be enjoyed by those on dairy-free or regular diets. I love this as it means there is no arguing amongst children and no one feels left out.

No Muu currently create bags of mini lego men, robots, dinosaurs, handbags and shoes, hearts and flowers, dogs, horses, jungle animals, coins and pirates. Our children thoroughly enjoyed sharing a bag of mini dinosaurs after their dinner (so much so that I didn't catch a photograph). 55g bags of dairy free chocolate treat shapes are available for only £2.

Dairy free fudge

Our favourite product had to be this dairy free fudge. It was so soft and luxurious and was up there with some of the nicest fudge I have tried. Priced at only £2 per bag, it's a bargain too! Our bag was demolished between the five of us in a matter of minutes!

I love how No Muu have created fun treats for their children and expanded it into a lovely brand and business that now allows other people with dairy free diets to enjoy chocolates too. Not only that but it is very clear that Anna is very passionate about her business and offering the best customer service. No Muu are always open to ideas or suggestions and I love that they are not static and are consistently creating new ideas and products.
