What's On in the North East - Summer Holiday Special | 26 August - 1 September 2017


I'm still taking my blogging break (I'll be back on Monday) so this week's what's on guide is going to take a little bit of a different format. I've asked some local North East bloggers to share their ideas for where to take the little ones this week and I'm re-sharing some of the places we've visited and enjoyed this summer. Angela from Creative Calligraphy recommends 'And The Cow Jumped Into The Woods' featuring North East favourites Doddington the Cow and Arbuthnot at The Customs House, South Shields. Karen from Adventures of a Monkey Footed Mummy suggests the South Tyneside Vegetable Show on 26 August. Expect everything from perfect flowers to giant pumpkins. It's also the Great North Feast in Bents Park which is FREE and features food and drink stalls, live music and a secret forest.
