We visited Preston Park this week and honestly had THE best time. For this week only, their Victorian Street has been transformed into the North East's very own Diagon Alley. You can shop for wands, visit an owl emporium and find the perfect broomstick (all at a small extra charge). It really feels as if you are walking around Hogwarts. There are free activities across the weekend including Mini beasts, Owl display & Magic school. Plus a fab adventure playground. Entry is £5 per family and last for a full year. Find out more here and check out our YouTube video below featuring our visit last week:-

Northern Stage | Newcastle
Sat 29 October | 1pm & 5pm
We're heading to this performance on Friday night and really can't wait. I can't remember the last time we all went to the theatre together as Steve is always at work - I have a feeling it was probably panto! Anyway, Hogwallops is part of the Juice Festival and combines thrilling circus skills, physical comedy, slapstick and more. I can already tell my kids are going to love it. Tickets are £40 per family and available here.
