The Juice Festival returns to NewcastleGateshead this October Half Term. The art festival has lots going on with events taking place across the whole week. Families and children are well catered for (check out our festival guide for families here if you missed it) but did you know there is also a fair bit of choice for young people in the North East too? Double Trouble Breaking Masterclass | Sage Gateshead

This is the only event of it's kind in the North East. Local and world-class talent will be showcasing hip-hop styles of dance from old-school moves to innovative and fresh styles that are still in development. Tickets are £12 and available here.

Anime Attacks | Gateshead Library

Anime Attacks is back for it's 6th year. Celebrating Japanese culture, this popular Anime convention will be packed with cosplay, music, arts, craft, food, fashion & more. Tickets are £7.50 each and available here.
Body Talks | Bodyzone, Carliol Square

Body Talks will encourage young people to think about self-perception and explore the issues of trolling and body shaming in society. The site-specific piece of dance theatre will certainly provide lots of food for thought. Tickets are £5 each and available here.

Enter the magical world of Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory in this unique immersive experience. Set to a backdrop of the film, the whole room will change - there could be hurricanes, snow or maybe rain. There will be lots of candy-fuelled fun with live performances, artists and sweet treats from the science lab in this vibrant festival finale. Tickets are £10 and available here.
