Safer Internet Day falls on 9th February this year and Intel Security challenged our family to create a visual representation of what we think a 'safe internet' would look like. All of my children use the internet more or less every day whether this be streaming cartoons, watching youtube videos or researching homework so I was keen to get them all involved and listen to their ideas about what they thought a safe internet would look like.
Our ideas for a 'Safe Internet'
We created a video to talk you through what we think would make a safer internet:-
A safe internet would not have any suspicious emails that could give our computer a virus
A safe internet would not feature any swearing or rude words
A safe internet would not let people find out where you live.
A safe internet would not let people steal your passwords
How Intel Security are doing their bit
- Intel Security provide products such as True Key software where you can sign in without your password (eg your fingerprint)
- Virus protection such as McAfee Live Safe provides trusted protection you can shop, surf and keep all of your devices online with one single subscription
