Our 2015 Halloween Plans

We have spent the last few years away from home to celebrate Halloween (see our Halloween at Butlins post from last year). This year we are staying at Sundrum Castle over October half term but we will be spending actual Halloween at home. I thought I would share our plans on the blog today.

A world record attempt at Alnwick Garden

We have secured our tickets to the Witch Gathering at Alnwick Garden where we will be joining 2000 other witches in an attempt to break the official world record for the largest number of witches dressed in one place. There will be hubble, bubble, toil and trouble plus lots of spooky entertainment so I am really looking forward to our afternoon.

Halloween Dinner Party

We are then going to return home for a special Halloween Dinner Party. I have designed and ordered some personalised witches brew bottle stickers which I am going to attach to jam jars and and fill using this witches brew recipe.

The children are then going to be given their own 'Zombie Brain' lunch boxes which will be filled with lots of ghoulish snacks.

Trick or Treat

As darkness falls, it will be time to head out to a few of our neighbours house for some traditional 'trick or treating'. I have bought the children their own personalised trick or treat bags this year which I hope we can re-use year after year.

For children coming to our door, I have created our own personalised favour boxes from I am planning on filling them with jelly worms and chocolate eye balls. Never one to miss an opportunity, I have even added my own website address too.

Finally, I now have a beautiful new nephew to think about. He was only born in September so is far too young for chocolate, instead I have bought him this personalised burp cloth which has been made with ultra-soft polyester and printed with baby-safe ink. I love it!

I think I am definitely going to need some time off after Halloween to recover but I am really looking forward to celebrating at home with the kids this year.
