Top 5 reasons I love the Kids being back at school

We have had a fantastic summer. Highlights have included a trip to the stunning Cragside in Northumberland, making the LONG journey to Paultons Park (home of Peppa Pig World), followed by a trip to Thomas LandThe Splash! festival at Alnwick garden was lots of fun and we all enjoyed watching a spectacular Knight's tournament at Belsay Hall and finally we loved our glamping trip in some Yurts at National trust's Gibside.

Part of me would like this fun to be never-ending and I do think the children have probably learned just as much in the holidays as they would at school, however the time has arrived for them to go back to school and I must admit, part of me has breathed a sigh of relief! Here are my top 5 reasons I love the kids being back at school!

1 - I can drink a full cup of coffee again every day of the week instead of just a work day!

2 - We are getting regular exercise walking to school again I walk a total of 9 miles per day (to school and back x 3) when hubby is at work and has the car.

3 - Our house is clean and tidy for longer than 2 minutes! Yeah!

4 - My evenings are free again as I can blog in the mornings rather than late into the night!

5 - No more worrying that the children are bored/too attached to their tablets/missing their friends.

As much as I have loved the holidays I am so happy to be back in a routine again (although not loving the early mornings!).

I would love to hear what you love about the kids being back at school.

Today I am linking up with a brand new 'The list' linky organised by Mums Days and You Baby Me Mummy.
