Now anyone who knows me well, knows how much I love Hotel Chocolat and I regularly shop here for treats for myself/family or for gifts. My love affair started many years ago when my best friend bought me a Hotel Chocolat fondue set for Christmas and I have never looked back! For me, no other brand compares. If you buy anyone a gift from Hotel Chocolat no matter how big or small, I can guarantee they will not be disappointed.
There is something for everyone from quirky fun lollipops to grown up, luxurious eggs. Here are my top picks:-
I particularly love the 'eggs and chips' dipping set and can imagine the whole family enjoying this treat after an Easter Sunday Lunch and I love the fried egg lollipops - I will definitely be purchasing some of these for my children's Easter basket.
We were sent the 'Easter pick me up' set for review. Delivery was super quick and even the cardboard box our package arrived in oozed quality and sophistication.
The 'Easter pick me up' selection are the perfect chocolates for sharing as a treat and maybe with a glass of wine over Easter.
The first of the treats we tried were the salted caramel egglets. This bag was beautifully packaged and the eggs were filled with liquid chocolate. Heaven!
Next up were a box of raspberry ganache egglets. These were like nothing I have ever tasted before - fruity, chocolately and rather zingy. Very enjoyable and went down well!
Finally, there is a box of praline bunnies. These were my favourite, the flavour was simply amazing and they were very luxurious in taste despite their cute appearance.
Because these chocolates were so exquisite, rich and luxurious, you only need a few at a time to feel satisfied. Myself and my husband both enjoyed a few chocolates over 3 nights and it was definitely something to look forward to. This gift set would certainly last longer over Easter weekend than a standard Easter egg would.
The Easter Pick me up set is available online and in store from Hotel Chocolat now. Priced at £13 we think this is a fantastic price (works out at just over £2 per person per night if you split it over 3 nights like we did) and is certainly something to look forward to this Easter.
