Our week in food - week 5

Monday - roast chicken marinaded in lemon peri peri rub with salad

Tuesday - seabass, new potatoes and pea purée
Seabass was a hit with our kids! Clean plates all around.

Wednesday - Taco's
The kids were being really picky tonight and were whinging they didn't want mince. I couldn't be bothered to argue so  they ended up with fish finger taco's!

Thursday - Carvery lunch
We enjoyed a walk along the coast and a bargain carvery lunch at The Gibralter Rock (2 for £10). We were so full we didn't have any tea. Kids had spaghetti and meatballs.

We also bought a chocolate brownie from Gareth James chocolatiers in Tynemouth for our supper. These are the best brownies ever!

Friday - Friday is family treat night. Domino's pizza had 50% off so we bought a couple between us and watched a movie (Armageddon). 

Over the weekend I baked some chocolate brownies and sausages rolls as treats for packed lunch through the week (erm if they last that long). As we were both at work over the weekend we just had soup for tea over the weekend as it's quick and easy.
