On Friday 25th October we hope to attend the Halloween hog roast event at Gibside. We attended one of these events in the summer and it was fantastic. What's not to love about getting wrapped up, huddling round a fire eating a hog roast sandwich listening to live music (and hopefully with a glass of wine in hand).
Unfortunately I will be at work most of the weekend but as we have an extra hour to play with on Sunday we are hoping to pop to Tynemouth market in the morning and let the kids spend their pocket money.
Monday is going to be a lazy day - will get some food shopping delivered, make some toffee apples, watch some Halloween movies and maybe decorate the house for Halloween. We are going to Nando's for tea on Monday which is always something to look forward to!
On Tuesday we hope to visit Alnwick castle . There is soooo much going on over Halloween including wand and dragon charm making, broomstick training and a chance to meet the goblin Queen and her dragon.
When daddy gets home from work on Tuesday we are going to see the Sunderland lights in Roker park. They have been inspired by Alice in Wonderland this year and I can't wait to see the Cheshire Cat!
On Wednesday we are going out for lunch to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday followed by a nice woodland walk to collect some conkers (hope we're not too late).
On Halloween we are off to frightwater valley which I am just sooooo excited about! A fairground graveyard awaits us complete with cackling witches, trick or treat doors, Halloween UV puppet show and a Halloween band. We'll not be venturing into the zombie maze though as I think the kids are just a bit too young to be chased by zombies!
Then to complete our half term, Heidi is having a girly day with her grandma and I'm taking the boys to diggerland Jack, Harry and their friend will absolutely love it here and will be so excited to ride in a real life digger.
